Students from Africa and India will have the opportunity to compete for seven scholarships totaling £10,500 each for the academic year 2023/2024 at Aston University. The university is delighted to make this announcement.
These scholarships are made possible by the generosity of the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust, an organisation whose mission is to provide educational options for students who, for a variety of reasons, may not be able to contemplate attending school in the United Kingdom.
Students who wish to apply for one of the following postgraduate taught programmes are eligible for consideration for the Ferguson Scholarships:
- MSc Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience
- MSc Drug Delivery
- MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences
- MSc Pharmacokinetics
- MSc Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine
- MSc Psychology (Conversion programme)
- MSc Health Psychology
Eligibility criteria:
- You need to have an offer, either conditional or unconditional, for one of the courses listed above.
- You must be a citizen of either India or a country in Africa.
- Obtain a grade of 2:1 or above, or its equivalent, in a field of study that is pertinent to the course for which you are enrolling. Include a compelling personal statement when you send in your application for the course.
- Be a self-funded student
Benefits
Winners of the Aston University Ferguson Scholarship will be benefited by the amount of £10,500 that will be applied toward the cost of your education.
How to apply
- Before the scholarship application deadline (19th May 2023), be sure to fill out the online application form that can be found toward the bottom of the page on the university website and submit it for the course of your choice.
- Next, fill out the online form that may be found below to express your interest in applying for the scholarship.
- The deadline for submitting applications for this scholarship will be on June 30th, 2023, and the announcements will be made at that time (midnight UK time). Take note that this is the very last opportunity to submit an application before the extended deadline.
Note that we do not accept applications for this award that have been submitted by agents.
